I'm done with the iphone since O. S.7, can you suggest an alternative smartphone?

Added (1). More specific? I'm in Japan, so everything goes on contracts… I just need pure information on device capabilities and ease of use.

It's also possible that the new OS will be less annoying after a few days, or more specifically, on the new hand set. In other words, just get the next iPhone. But I see that as no more than Stockholm syndrome. Gonna vote with my money on this one, start giving it to one of Apple's competitors instead.

I'd suggest you go for HTC or Nokia Lumia

Could you please be more specific? Like what's your budget? Do you want a high end smartphone or a mid range smartphone?

Anyway, If you meant a high end smartphone the Sony Xperia Z1 has incredible specs - from that beautiful screen, to its breathtaking design and powerful innards, there's so much that Sony has got right here. It has built on the strong heritage of the Walkman and given power users one of the things they often desperately crave - a good battery performance and top speeds. The design is robust and fits very well in the hand - and despite the fact the 5-inch screen is whopping, the way its integrated into the chassis mitigates that issue well. And when you turn on the Full HD screen, well, the clarity is almost mind-melting. It's also water resistant and dust resistant.

However given the circumstances you have/had an i phone i guess you will sell it (not sure just a guess)
Now there are a lot of phones out there, since ios is only compatible with 4s+ iPhone I guess you have one of them.
1) i suggest htc one… Super powerful phone, that will load anything, with its os android base there's plenty of apps and games
2) If it picture quality you want i strongly suggest the new Nokia lumia 1020. The phone is powerfull but with it 41mp camera sensor, NO PHONE COMES CLOSE
3)Samsung galaxy s3/s4 if I'm honest not much difference between the two, However they are both powerful smartphones with a big screen that is still pocket sized
p.s note 2/3 could also be an option if its a large screen you want, however after previouly owning one i realized i left my phone everywhere. Even though its so big, you tend to forget about it as it doesn't really feel nice in your pocket
