I'm I ungrateful for my 2nd hand iPhone 6( read details)?
Should I cry over an iPhone 6 that I got for my 14th bday that doesn't turn on when I need it most? When I put the passcode in it freezes. Recently I've needed my phone to contact important people because of the death of my dad. What upsets me about this is that loads of people are showing off there new iPhones that they got for xmas that works perfectly fine. I've never had. A brand new phone before and I just want to take a new phone out of the box and it working perfectly. I hate being that girl with all the 2nd had stuff
I know you'll get plenty of people who think you are behaving like an entitled kid but truth is, I feel your pain. I'm a grandma now but I can remember having the same feeling. I wasn't entitled at all. My family was lower-middle class. I can remember getting clothing for Christmas, clothing I would never pick out, and I would have to wear it to school.
All I can say is that there are ways you can earn money. It won't be easy but it can be done. And I guarantee that once you earn your phone, you will value it more than most anything that has ever been given to you.
Don't be sad. Your like a 5 year old! Be grateful you even have a house. Your parents might not have enough money. Save up your own money
The iphone 6 is still a superb phone!
However, all smartphones & tablets etc. Are actually small computers and they can get corrupted or crash like any other computer.
That can happen if something messes up an update and it does not install properly, or the phone gets too short of memory to run properly.
Do a full "DFU Reset" on it to get rid of any problems or operating system corruption.
It erases the entire phone including the operating system, and replaces it with it with the latest version [which will take a while so be patient], then eventually it starts up as if it were a brand-new phone.
That's the iphone equivalent of formatting and doing a "clean reinstall" on a PC.
Back it up to itunes first - and you must know your apple account login info.
[You must have a computer with itunes on it & the phone linked with that to do this].
Do the DFU reset. Once that is complete, you can use it as a new phone or restore your itunes backup.
See here: https://www.imore.com/...d-dfu-mode
Again, you _must_ have your apple username and password as they are asked for any time you do a factory or DFU reset and the phone restarts as new - without them, it's a paperweight.
- What is a good price to pay for an iPhone 4 now (2nd hand)? My friend is selling an iPhone 4 and he said to give an offer, but I don't know how much to offer. I will need to pay £20 to get it unlocked so is £150 a reasonable offer? I honestly have no idea
