I'm not Rich? Or Spoiled? At All?

I was in one of my college classes the other night on my laptop and one of the boys asked me literally if I was rich? He jokes around and calls me spoiled but I'm not at al! Like at all. I pay my own car insurance and I have to pay for my own iphone bill (which is expensive). Ever since i stopped going to classes a year or two ago my mom cut off my allowance and told me i had to get a job for spending money so now I work i hate it but i don't consider having to work being spoiled at all. I don't drive like a mercedes i drive a normal car. I'm back in college now but i still have to keep the job to pay for my car insurance and phone bill so i don't get why people think so badly of me some of my friends even poke fun and honestly i think spoiled people are just annoying and fake so i'm kind of offended because i'm a nice person.

Maybe just to bug you? Maybe you just came on that way? Perhaps he thinks you pay nothing for the stuff you have.

Otherwise don't let it bother you, it shouldn't matter what he thinks. Maybe he's jealous you have an iPhone and a car and all that.

Why does that offend you? From what you described your family is at least "comfortable"
