I'm so scared it's worrying me?
I bought an iphone off ebay which was stuck in recovery loop. But when I took the phone to apple, they said it was water damaged.
I raised a case and ebay refunded me. However the seller got my number and started saying to me accusing me of opening the phone.
He's saying I opened the phone and there are parts missing. But I haven't done anything of the sorts. As soon as apple told me it was water damaged, I raised the case to get it returned because I don't want to risk opening this myself.
But he's still accusing me no matter what I say. I'm genuinely worried now. I know I shouldn't be because I'm not in the wrong, but it's worrying me a lot now.
He's threatened to call the police and I'm worried. I know i shouldn't be because in not in the wrong. But I can't help it because I've never been in a situation involved with the police. Ever
He's even threatening me with the court
What should I do. My feedback speaks for itself and I have returned items before for damaged/faulty items and no one has ever complained.
I'm extremely stressed at the moment and I'm so close just to give him the money back just for it to end
How many times are you going to ask the same question? Wasn't twice enough, or are you looking for different answers?
If you stand tall and fight for a case you know that its not your fault then you'll win but if you lied and just trying to get your money back then just return his money back no point of fighting.
If it were me, I'd call his bluff and tell him to go right ahead and call the police, and that you'll be happy to provide them with documentation of your visit to the Apple Store, your eBay claim, and your feedback history.
You should also tell him that from this point forward all communication is to be made in writing, and that if he continues to call you, YOU will be reporting him to the police for harassment, menacing, and extortion.

He's an idiot. This is a civil matter - ignore him and if he keeps harassing you that is criminal
Call his bluff. Tell him to phone the Police and you will be waiting for them. Then change your phone number. There's NO way UK Police would have any interest in this kind of nonsense. There's NO way he could afford to take you to Court, it is NOT FREE in the UK.
