Added (1). I'm trying to connect my new iPhone 6s to my Mac and my Itunes, but it won't work. It will say that I need to download the newest version of iTunes (which I already have) and then it begins syncing as if it were my old iPhone 5. My biggest issue is just that I need my photos to be switched over, and i can't do it on my computer if it doesn't even connect and show up. I also can't do it via iCloud because for some reason, it just won't work.

That's the only part of this problem that doesn't make sense. If it is syncing, that's what it should do, so end of problem.
In truth, the phone IS NOT ACTUALLY SYNCING, because the iTunes version is old. Open the App Store on the Dock, and click that GIGANTIC El Capitan picture. After you download El Capitan, the installer will automatically launch. After you install El Capitan, you will have iTunes version 12.3.2 and that will take care of the iPhone issue.
