Is getting a ipad air worth it if you have the iphone 5 and MacBook Pro?
I'm thinking of buying myself a ipad air for christmas but I already have the iphone 5 and MacBook Pro. Should I spend the money on something else or is the ipad a waste of money if I have those 2 gadgets? What's the point of the ipad?

- Why do some of my friends see me as weird when I have an iPhone 6s and 2011 15 inch MacBook Pro? They tell me to upgrade to new 2018 phones and computers. Mine runs fine right now and I don't see a reason to upgrade. I plan on upgrading in 2021 to newer MacBooks. I want to own this thing for a decade. Plus it has a cd drive.
- Which should I get, Apple ipad pro OR Macbook Air? I can't decide which I want, and which is the better option. I like the ipad pro (most likely the 12.9) because of the touch, pencil and the app store. I like the macbook air because its light, still integrates with my iphone, great battery life and the ability to run programs. This device won't be used for anything crazy. I still have a windows laptop thats used quite a bit. Any thoughts or suggestions?
- What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.
