I need some spending advice
Okay, so I'm 15 and since summer started, my dad has been getting me to work around the house. I have raised some money (about $170) and I really want an iPhone. My current phone barely works and my iPod touch screen is cracked. My dad has allowed me to get an iPhone on one condition: I pay for the $30 per month data plan. I have just applied to two jobs and Dunkin's and McDonalds, so hopefully one of them will take me. I also have been looking into pre-ordering/buying GTA V when it comes out. I'm just not sure if I should invest into an iPhone or GTA V. Opinions?
If you get the game than you can use the rest of the money for the phone and when you get the job still pay for the phone.
My iPhone is the best investment I've ever made. It can do literally anything. You can waste all your money on GTA V by preordering it or wait until someone to play it through in a week and sell it back to gamestop and get a used copy for half the price. GTA 4 was terrible in my opinion anyways. A cell phone is useful and can help you be productive, it helps you stay connected with the world. Video games keeo you cooped up in the house. I think iPhone is the better investment hands down. The alternative is to get both after GTA V comes used.
So if you loose stuff, that is OK? You have to decide how to manage your money.
- Need some serious advice about my iphone 4s? I dropped my iphone 4s in the water a few days ago. I left my phone in rice like people told me to for two days, but it doesn't seem to work. My contract ends in november but they said i can change my phone on july 14. I have verizon btw. I have like three weeks left, but i have some very important stuff in my phone and i'm expecting some calls/texts. Will verizon fix my phone, but more importantly, can they fix my phone? Or is it dead already? any advice would be appreciated!
