I need something to wake me up in the morning? No seriously?
I'm having real problems here. I go to university and study for a professional degree, treating patients. I'm expected to have meticulous time management and there's reprecussions if I'm late. I have already been late quite a lot and have had to see the head of the course about it. Today I had trouble getting up again, and heavy traffic + getting lost + other circumstances meant that I was late. (though I know if I had got up earlier, my problems would have been solved) The teacher has given me a warning now and If I'm not careful I may get kicked out.
At the minute I use my radio alarm clock at full blast, set about 8 alarms on my iphone (literally( 5 minutes apart and they ring from 6.30-8am. I also on top of that use the "sleep cycle" app which wakes me up gently and vibrates.
The problem is my phone doesn't ring very loudly at all. I have overslept many times as I couldn't hear it but the alarm went off. Its also very easy to turn off in my sleep. The radio doesn't always get me up either, it is very loud but sometimes the conversation and music plays in my dream so sometimes I don't wake up or I wake up after a long while.
I need something extremely effective and LOUD. As you can tell I really really need it, and if I don't get something sorted then I have no hope. Feel free to link any alarm clocks or devices which actually work. (I have tried an alarm that has wheels and moves about but it was too low for me to hear)

You can try putting your iPhone in an open bowl. That's supposed to increase the intensity of the sound.
I had this problem and there are some things that really helped.
1. I put my mechanical alarm clock in a metal bowl turned on its side and pointed towards my head. This made it twice as loud.
2. I put the bowl on the other side of the bedroom so I HAD to get up to turn it off, if it's right next to you it's just too easy to cancel the alarm and go back to sleep.
3. Get EVERYTHING ready for the next day before you go to bed - set out your clean clothes, get your breakfast things ready as well as anything else you need, then you won't be rushing around in a panic every morning.
4. Find an alarm that is not just loud but VERY irritating.
You have to take full responsibility for this, nobody else can do it for you.
Try sleeping with headphones/ear phones in your ears so that the alarm will be blasted into your ears. You might want to practise beforehand though with volumes so it's not too loud.
- Why do girls take breakups so seriously? I just want to know out of curiosity, I mean why can't they be like me: shrug and say "S**t happens" and move on with my life without a second's hesitation. - Regarding sending something back with a warranty and returning something broken to a seller on amazon? I ordered a charger for my iPhone and it comes with a 18 month worry free warranty and my charger broke. So I was wondering can I return it to the seller in a envelope in my mailbox and same thing for the other thing that is broken. like or do I have to go to ups and ship it like that
- My head seriously feels like its about to explode? So basically I'm a fourteen year old phone geek. And my phone is currently broken, but its only 52 days till I can upgrade, when I get my iPhone 5. I seriously can't wait, so I googled how to make 50 days go faster. And I've been trying so hard not to think about it, its making my head strain! Its seriously won't go out of my mind and it kills! The other day I even had a dream that I was stuck in an apple shop. My head kills!
