I only receive Text Message when IIm making a call on IPhone 5 after backup. How do I fix it?
IIm texting my boyfriend and IIm not receiving his text message like I normally do. He doesn't have an iPhone and I recently just told my brother to text me too and the same thing happened. I would only get the messages when I make a phone call. I recently backed up my phone this morning. My iMessage works fine though. It's really annoying me.
It's not just the IPhone5, my Galaxy S4 does that for a day or so, after It updates. It also won't turn on at all, or show a light… Nothing, like its completely toast when its updating. Have no idea how to fix this. Check your connection settings on your phone, if you have it set to run off the Wi-Fi instead of mobile data.
Ditch the Apple.

- Will the text messages be transferred over if IIm buying a new iPhone? So IIm planning on buying the new iPhone 6s and I need my text messages to be transferred over. Will the iPhone Backup also transfer the text messages?
- Why is my iphone making the message tone but no message? My iphone, for the first ever time made the message tone and I have no message? There's no app on my phone that makes the same sound either I have checked, apart from tweet on settings, but I don't even have twitter… I received a message 20 Minuits before this happened but I read it and replied… I have a lot of storage on my phone so it can't be that either… So what is it?
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? This is the iPhone X! I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings. I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?
- Why did my HP laptop start making Iphone text noise message? I was just playing an online game and suddenly it was doing it multiple times, nothing else was opened except for Skype, and Skype does not make that noise.
