Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings?
I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why?
This is the iPhone X!
Added (1). I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings.
I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?
Try resetting the network settings. Its possible too that Do Not Disturb is turned on in Settings and if not may have to backup up pics and everything and factory reset
- Will my phone ever get found? I think someone stole it at school or it went missing I was in the locker room and I checked everywhere? I'm going to check the lost and found tomorrow. And since I have an iPhone someone let me borrow theirs and I turned on lost mode through the find my iPhone. And I filed a report to the school admins/deans office
- Why don't I receive emergency alerts on my iPhone 5c? I have gone to settings>notifications and turned on emergency alerts, but I've never received them. My friends also have iPhone 5c/5s and it works for them. I've tried turing it off and turning off my phone, then turning on my phone & turning it on again but it doesn't work. Can someone help?

- Why don't email alerts show on my iPhone? I just set up my phone yesterday do I'm new to it. Basically I logged into my Gmail account on the Mail app but for some reason new emails only appear when I go into the app and refresh the page manually. My mum has an iPod touch so I know that you can get them. I went into settings > notifications > mail and changed it so that the alerts should appear but they don't… It's an iPhone 4S if that helps.
