I opened a virus on my iphone
I got sent a message on skype that said "Lol is this your profile pic" it then had a web address after it that I clicked on. A message came up but I can't remember what it said. The sender of the message told me it was a virus and that he accidently sent it. What will happen? What should I do? I've turned my phone off but don't no what else. Does apple cover viruses?
First try by ph switch on what has hapend may be it was a joke
I don't think anything will happen… If anything unusal is happening on your phone contact Apple
Install antivirus
They technically don't exist. That being said, I mean they exist but not just released in the general public. I doubt you're infected by this "virus". Calm down, you're fine.
If you're really worried, then call up Apple.
- Spam message from twitter opened on iphone, should I be concerned? I received a direct message on twitter that was the usual spam trying to get me to click on a link. Normally I never open these and delete them but thanks to the notifications setting it opened the message directly but thankfully not the link. Should I be concerned of any possible infection from this?
- Is there any apps to see when your phone has been opened and what apps where opened when? (On IPhone)? So my friends have been snooping on my I phone 6 and close out all the apps they have gone on afterwards. I don't mind them snooping because I have nothing I don't mind them seeing but I want to be able to see what apps they opened. Is there any apps to see when your phone has been opened and what apps where opened?
- Is there an application on iphone to keep a log of apps opened and their times? I want to know if an app has been opened while i was sleeping by somebody. So i want n app that can give a log of activities for a layman. Like app name and last opened at what time! So that when i wake up i can just check if my iphone has been used by someone else or not.
- Is it safe to buy a new (but opened) iphone from ebay/Amazon? I've seen these iPhones where they'll say they where opened to check for package contents, display model, etc… Are these just done purposely so the seller can blacklist it a few days later, or are they genuine.
