I phone 4 restore, COULD NOT ACTIVATE IPHONE?

I have an AT&T i phone 4. I went to download IOS 7 and it said i need to clear up space in order to downlaod it. However, my phone only had 5 pictures about 50 songs and one app? So i researched it and found out that i have corrupt data on my phone that its taking up space and you have to restore it to factory settings in order to get that data. So now its telling me that
"Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server can't be reached. Try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it, or try again in a few minutes".

- Tried connection to itunes get a similiar error.
- Can't access my phone and says no service in upper left hand corner

Same problem here. This happened when iOS 6 was released. I will admit this one is taking a bit longer. The servers are being bombarded. Individuals from all parts of the world are attempting to activate their iOS 7 software. I suggest trying at 20 minute intervals.

  • ITunes could not restore iPhone. Unknown Error 21? I've tried everything, and it won't work. It won't restore my iPhone 3. ITunes will not restore it. Error 21. I've uninstalled then reinstalled iTunes. Also, how do I claim ownership of host file or whatever? I tried watching this video but it's such bad quality I couldn't do it. I'm just so frustrated, please help me.
  • IPhone 6 issue Could not activate cellular data network? I have a new iPhone 6, coming from an iPhone 4s. I have AT&T btw. In the top left it shows i have bars, and then the LTE or 4G symbol shows up, but when I try to use safari or anything web-based it says I'm not subscribed to a cellular data service, or "could not activate cellular data network". It works fine on Wi-Fi, but why won't it work on LTE or 4G.
  • If I buy a new phone and restore my phone will a virus transfer to the new phone? I believe my iPhone has a virus but I'm not sure. I'm due for a new phone anyways but I need to know that if I do have a virus on my current phone, will it transfer with my information and data to my new phone?
  • I could get the iPhone 5s in like 3 weeks but I could get the 5c tommorow? I could get the 5s in a few weeks and I love it but I also really like the iPhone 5c and I could get a great otter box case for it or get the 5s but that would take 3 more weeks. What should I do?! And the 5c is still great right? Because a lot of people still have the 4s. And please don't say wait for the 6 because I'm not
