The message was sent 2 nights ago. I don't message him often by the way maybe once or twice in a week.
He might now want to reply to you
Not everyone pouncing on their phone the second a message comes in. Some people have lives and actually do things without their phone for hours at a time, and may miss that a call or message as come in, and if like me, they turn off all those annoying new message sounds and notifications pop ups and status bar things. So he may not even know you sent a message until he checks his app.
And he just may be busy, and you are a low priority to him.
The reason he (not "they") has not read your message has nothing to do with hardware or cell service.
You only get told it's delivered, iPhones don't have the capability to tell you when the recipient has read it

- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
