I set my iPhone to Jan 1st 1970 and it bricked my iPhone. Will Apple replace my iPhone for me?
I was following this youtube tutorial on how to hack this game but I got trolled hard and it ruined my phone. I didn't know that it'll brick your iPhone until after I did it. Will Apple replace my iPhone? I can't turn it on to turn off find my iPhone or passcode.
Apple is unlikely to help you out
but
there may be a fix
how about doing some research Hi just take the battery out for 24 hours. You should still be able to do a restore via itunes.
Press & hold both Home & Power buttons for around 30 seconds, until you get the connect to itunes graphic.
It will delete everything on the phone and set it up as a new one.
You still need the account password to re-activate it afterwards, or it's a brick. I'm not sure but how do you set it to 1970? I wanna do that! Let the phone battery die completely then charge it again, this will reset the calendar. If you take it to Apple, they will simply remove the battery and put it back it which does the same thing, you're better off doing this at home by letting it run out of charge. You'd likely have to pay for any replacement since it is through your own fault. They might or might not. All you can do is ask. It's not generally covered by the warranty, since you were trying to hack the phone. Don't worry, once my iphone was also hanged
i know battery can't be taken out
so i let it drain all battery
after switch off
attach charger and phone again will work
experienced
i was also worried but now i know it was nt bricked only hanged Thought I read if battery fully depletes you can recover phone. However long that might take.
