I think I sing horrible, but people say I sing beautiful?
I recorded myself singing on my iPhone and when I listened to it I sounded horrible! People say I sing beautiful. I do theatre and I have gotten lead roles, so it's not that bad, but still. Has this happened to you?

You should get a decent quality microphone to know what your voice really sounds like, the ones on an iPhone aren't great, also try putting some on youtube and see what feedback you get. You can check out mine by searching 'Emily Laing'.
I have the same problem as well.people think that I sing so beautifully but I think that I sound terrible. It wasn't until i went to my singing teacher about this and she claimed that iPhones make people sound bad due to the terrible quality they posess.
- Why do people think that childfree people are immature and selfish? Marriage isn't living outside of yourself for another person? What about taking care of extended family?
- When I sing I sound good in my head but on recording it doesn't sound as good? I understand why this is but I want to know if it is because my iPhone recording quality isn't good. If not how do I actually listen to how others hear me sing.
- They say to stay positive no matter what happens in life but how could I when I'm living with negative thinking people? Such as my parents. Which really can't be helped, they are really stubborn people. And I'm still a student, can't afford to live on my own yet. I wear airpods all the time to block out their negative energy. They moan about stuffs all the time
