I think my IPhone 4s is fully dead; is there a way I can revive it or is it gone?

I dropped my IPhone 4s in water a few weeks ago and I tried the rice trick. I left it for 3 days and tried charging it on the third day. It turned on once I put it on the charger (showed the battery thing) and then I left it for a little bit, but then when I came to check on it, it had this static sound (very faint but noticeable). I had gotten nervous then unplugged it. Ever since then my phone just won't even turn on or heat up when charging. I think it's just dead and I lost everything on it.

Water could still be in it. You should take it apart to dry it. An ounce of water could have gotten in that phone, and it will not evaporate for 20 years. It is halfway possible to open it, dry it, let it sit a day; and it works once again. Or, it already shorted out when the water hit the electricity, and it is a lost cause.

Grab yourself a 6S and move on, most of them are pretty cheap or even free with new plans.
