I've deleted all my photos and apps, but my iPhone still says I've used 3.4 GB?
I never updated my phone to IOS 7 when it came out last year because I had tons of pictures and nothing to import them to, which left me with not enough GB space. I've recently gotten a laptop so I imported almost all of my old pictures and deleted the rest, as well as deleting all my apps. However, it still says I don't have enough room to update, as I have used 3.4 GB. What can I do to fix this?
I think you can't do anything because built-in apps like Safari, Maps, Stocks e.t.c take up space, and there's nothing to do about it. Same happened to my phone, imported and deleted everything, so I'm just gonna get a tablet. If you really want to have apps and photos, get an iPad that can hold more space. You can have your apps and everything on there, and use your phone for personal things. You can also sync music onto there, and photos, so you can use your phone for other things. The iPad has a bigger screen for games and a good camera, too!
- No photos and 16GB used for camera and photos My dad gave me an iPhone recently and so I've been adjusting things to my likings, then I found 18GB in the phone was labeled "Other". When I checked the app usage, the Photo & Camera section was using up 16GB, and I had no photos at all. Can someone help please?
- My iphone needs to restore and I don't want all my music and apps deleted? Okay so I was doing the software update for my iPhone and after about an hour it said the update had failed due to an unknown error. Next thing I know a window comes up on my itunes that says, "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." and that's my only option. If I restore it, I fear losing all of my apps and music that I paid for. Is there any way I can restore it without deleting all of my music and apps?
- IPhone still says i have 20GB of photos when i deleted everything? And before you ask, yes i deleted everything from my recently deleted folder and yes i tried the date & time trick, nothing worked. Its frustrating because thats 20GB i could be using for something else. I backed up all my photos and everything is deleted and gone but it still says something is occupying 20 gigs on my phone. Is there a fix for this? Or will i have to call apple or actually go into the store
- My iPhone has ran out of storage and I just deleted a lot of photos and videos and there's still no storage So I moved a whole lot of photos and videos to iCloud Drive and deleted them off the phone itself to clear space up but it still says there's no storage left. Please help me to know what's wrong and what to do so I can clear up space.
