I want to buy a Camera for home photography?
I'm looking for a Camera. My basic needs are for Home Photography. I don't wanna be a professional or something just need a camera which can deliver best pictures for Facebook or for home parties. I'm unable to get good photos with my Iphone so I want something better. My budget is less than 300$.It would be great if some professional photographer can help or someone who knows about this stuff. Thanks!
Added (1). It would be great if you can suggest few models. I don't know much about cameras.
Definitely go for a Canon. Best make out there.
If you just mean home photos then 5S has a great camera, if you mean real pro photography, a DSLR is what you need.
Your budget rules out DSLR's. Among compacts, the premium compacts, with a step up in optics and slightly larger 1/1.7"" sensor, will provide better image quality than the even smaller 1/2.3" sensor.
Sticking within your budget, there's the Nikon P330 for $264

Extending your budget a little is the Canon G15, currently marked down to $349 while it lasts.Th G15 is being replaced by the G16.

The heftier G15 allows you wider aperture at telephoto than the Nikon P330. The G15 has a hotshoe, which allows you to add an external flash. If you have a white or nearly white ceiling, pointing an external flash at it (bounce flash) can give more pleasing lighting than direct flash.
The Pentax MX-1 has now been marked down to $265. This camera lacks a hotshoe. It has less zoom range than the Nikon P330, but it has wider telephoto aperture.

Amazon has the Canon T3 with 18-55mm kit lens marked down to $360 at the moment.

A canon rebel is a great camera and I highly recommend it.
- Which is the best camera (Canon or Nikon) for a beginner who's just started get into Photography? I'm willing to pay for the price between $400-$600. perfect for beginner high resolution superior video capacity easier to learn customization (not a requirement) top images quality easier to transfer photos and videos from the camera to both MacBook and iPhone superior low-light performance quick shutter speed long lasting battery
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
- What's the best photography camera for beginners? I'm really interested in learning more about photography since I have been taking photos with my iphone. And I was wondering which camera is best for a beginner? Mostly I'm interested taking sunset portraits and the bokeh. And where can I get the lens too?
- Is iPhone camera the best one in phone photography? I'm not satisfied with my phone camera and I see photos taken by iPhone are very attractive even if people don't know much about photography. Is there any better choice if I want to change a phone? I have an Interchangeable Lens Camera but I still can't take it everyday. I want to have a phone that can take nice photos even at night… Any suggestions?
