I want to do a foreign study program in England but?
I want to study in England but I'm in the US I know what to do and how to get there but I don't know it's just well.
I'm scared, there I'm 15 and shouldn't get scared its not like it's alien to me, it's just what if something happens to me. I want to go there and I know that if I let my fears rule me there's no hope that I'll make it to English borders.
But I don't know, I guess what I'm trying to say is that what is it like. How do they view Americans, I know it's a stable country and I would be sure to be in a safe place but what about societal things like what do I say or how do I act, I want to be there for a year during my senor year. Enough to earn credits there and for them to transfer and me to finish my grade school there and start college back in the states.
I just don't know what to do, I want to make it to England, I already know English, I know how to be proper, I love doctor who and love the crown it's just scary and I don't want my fears to control me.
I'd be a senior so I'd drive around and I would be able to take a boat to France if I lived on the coast. I would be around 19 by the time I'm a senior it's just I'm scared and I shouldn't be but it's just things like society and religious tolerance and personal rights and freedoms and I just want to know these things, If I get a international iPhone and then I'd be fine, right?
But about the money part of it how does pounds convert to US dollars would I be making a profit switching currency's or not, or my host family how would that work. I'm just worried, I think it would be good for me, but well I just want to be sure and know the important things about the UK after all I would be there for a year so ya.
It went on a bit too long, though. And the "don't know how to get there" part is somewhat obvious. Still, 7 out of 10 troll points from Auntie Gigapie.
- Why does my head hurt when I study? Whenever I start studying I feel this weird pain in my head. I browsed some others similar questions and they said that it might have something to do with eyesight but I don't wear glasses and I can see perfectly. I can even spend the entire day on my iphone or computer feeling ok. Please help me I can barely study for my finals and I'm afraid that I might fail.
- Using your iphone in a foreign country, contract or bill? I live in England and am going on holiday to Crete, Greece. If i use my minutes, texts and data whilst i'm over there will it count as my contract or will it make me pay extra, if so, how much are texts likely to be?
- Moving to Germany from USA to live for at least 3 years to study. How can I still use my phone to text/call/FT Americans while I'm there? Do I need to get a completely new phone? Plan? Phone number? I don't understand this process, as I have never gone through it before. I currently have an IPhone 7 and I use AT&T.
- Is there a program to download MP3s and sync to my iPhone in one program? Like a one stop shop where I can find MP3s of songs I want and can add to a library that will sync to my phone. I'm sick of iTunes. Even a sync program without mp3s works too.
