I want to factory unlock my iPhone 4s, but how do I do it?
I have an iPhone 4s currently locked with verizon. I want to use the phone for possibly sprint, att, or tmobile, but i don't know if that is possible. Also, I would prefer to do this myself, so if anyone can provide me with a valid web address something cheap and quick, but making sure that I will get the service I want.
Factory unlocked is a term used when a phone comes from the factory unlocked so you wouldn't be able to do that.
You can contact verizon and pay for an unlock code but if your doing it yourself you will need to Jailbreak your phone, I'm not going to supply a link on here but I'm pretty sure you can find a link on Google to help you.

- Factory unlock iPhone requires receipt but I don't have one? I called AT&T and they require a faxed receipt sent to them. What to do since I bought phone off e-bay and do not have an AT&T receipt or Apple store receipt. I also tried going through website and it also requires the receipt. How can I get around this? I see all over the web people charge $15-$50 for this service. How do they do it without receipt?
