My iPhone 5 was factory unlock but I restored it?
I have an iPhone 5 that was factory unlocked but I restored it and now I can't connect to other carriers but I went to imei checker to see if it was unlocked and it says it is but I don't know
"factory unlocked" means it comes directly from the factory unlocked. If you purchased the phone from Apple factory unlocked, then you were scammed.
A genuinely factory unlocked iPhone can't be locked again, particularly through a restore.
- IPhone Spyware: Restored from backup. To late to restore to factory settings? Believe an Ex jailbroke and put spyware on my iPhone. Connected to my computer and iTunes but restore from a backup not to factory defaults. Concern is that if I do so now, is my computer and the restore already corrupted? Does iCloud make a difference?
