I was given my cousins IPhone 4s. I need to factory restart without pass code?
My cousin gave me his old IPhone 4S when he upgraded and he has forgot the password. The power button is broken and it is now disabled. When i connect to itunes it says i need to enter the passcode to continue. Can anyone help me out?
Only way is to enter DFU mode and then do a restore, however entering DFU mode requires the use of the power button. There's no other way to do it, you will have to get the power button fixed first
- My iphone is disabled because i forgot the pass code? I know i have to sync it to itunes but every time i try it says it can't because it has a pass code on it. What do i do?
- Iphone 5s won't pass apple logo and won't restart? I hold the power button and then my phone will turn on and go to the apple logo, then turns off. Even charging it will turn it on to the apple logo then turn off. I've tried restarting it (pressing the power button and home button at the same time) and it'll turn on, but turn off again.

My relative sent me an iphone from the US locked under tmobile and the contract was finished and paid already. All they gave me is an unlock code which i freakingly don't know how or where to put it. I tried to follow their instructions to "put the sim card… Etc.restart.etc.complete the set up process.etc." but there's no form or bar to put the code. T_T. Any one has an idea how to use the code?
