I was sold an iPhone with iCloud locked? - 1
Ok, so I stupidly bought an iPhone from a lady off craigslist. She met me and sold me the phone and the phone was unlocked and took my sim card and everything. After she left the phone died on me but when I got back to my room I charged it just to find out her iCloud was locked to it and all her info was still there. I was still able to use the phone until this morning when it locked on me and keeps asking for the iCloud info. She's not replying to my emails, I found her on facebook she's not replying to my messages. The phone does have a clean ESN but on top of iCloud being locked the phone is blacklisted! This lady has not finished paying her expenses. Can I file a police report for this or am I SOL? If I can file a police report what category does it fall under?
Its probably stolen, you always need to check if its wiped before buying it. If meeting in person I would always write down the license plate number and make sure they know you wrote it down.

I met with him, looked at the phone, seemed nice.paid and everything and we left. I tried my T-mobile Sim and it doesn't work on the phone. Contacted him but he wouldn't answer… I called at&t to unlock it but they want the phone number registered on it and the 1st and last name. What can i do? Can i threaten to sue him for my money back? I have his phone number and license plate.

- I sold my iPhone 4 and before I sold it I erased everything and I saw a video that? I just saw a video saying that who ever I sold the phone too can easily get my photos and everything back! Is that true? I was at school and my brother came and took my phone because he found someone that wants it I gave it to him and he said he will format it… I'm really scared I don't want my photos to go everywhere! They also said in the video that this happened to a girl! My brother sold it to some girl I'm really worried is it true that they can get the photos back?
