ICloud or iTunes backup?

Which one is quicker and easier to backup your data from old iPhone to new?

Icloud, quick and faster

I do BOTH - always back up things before I leave on a trip, on the Cloud, my desktop at home, and also on any computer I'm taking with me (which is usually some little Netbook that most thieves woudl scorn, as they look to steal YOUR fancy tablet.) That way, if I'm on another continent and my phone is stolen, I can get an interim phone and at least transfer what I need, until I get home and do it all for real.

ICloud is faster in that it just backs up your most important data, and typically it's done in the background so as long as it's on you've got periodic backups.

iTunes backups are slower but are a complete backup.

Probably icloud

Depends on if your backups on the phone are larger than the max that iCloud can hold.

Example, basic iCloud storage is only 5GB. If there are 10GB of data to restore, iTunes will be able to handle the backup, where iCloud won't.
