ICloud scammers, scary?
About 3 weeks ago I lost my iphone 6s today i have an very old phone sorta like a Nokia 3310 for the moment with a new number. About 3 days ago i've been getting these weird text msg's saying that my iPhone 6s Grey 16gb has been found and could be picked up if i enter my icloud name and password through a link provided in the text. I don't believe it's true but how TF did these creepy scammers get my new numbers? I'm kinda freaking out.
They are just mass "phishing" messages, the same idea is fake paypal, facebook or bank etc. Emails - trying to trick people into volunteering they account info & passwords.
No properly secured account or web site can be cracked (or hacked as the show/call it on tv), all account compromises are done by social engineering; getting people to give them out to the wrong people or place.
- What are some good scary iPhone apps? I'm looking for more creepy and scary apps like Ellie or Slender man. Does anyone have any suggestions?
- Watching Scary Movies on iPhone? Watched The Exorcist on iPhone yesterday in the dark alone. Wasn't scared. Actually laughed at a lot of parts. Does iPhone watching take away the scary experience? Want to watch The Ring but don't want to watch on iPhone if it'll take away the scares.
- Scary IPhone message pop up I tried watching age of ultron free and this pooped up, I eventually escaped but what does this mean and is it true? What do I do if it is?!
- Scary dubstep song with an iPhone ringing during the song and pounding on a window? I heard it in my friends car and he didn't tell me the name of it. It is really scary when the iPhone rings and someone pounding at the window.
