I need an idea for a very short film in Mexico
I'm in a film class and I need to make a couple minute long movie with the theme of "not everything is as it seems". I will be traveling to Mexico City so I figured that would be a good place to film it but I have no idea what the film should be about. And I will also only be equipped with an iPhone to shoot the video on.
Well… I would record interviews with people from mexico city.
then based on their answers, find a title from there.
off the top of my head… If i had to come up with a name, it'd be something unoriginal.Like… "the real mexico". Or "viva la mexico".Was in part to the late cesar chavez.
- Why do I do this? I'm very very very tired yet I don't want to sleep? I want to sleep because I'm practically blinking and bobbing my head side to side like a drunken man but I just don't want to sleep. I watch tv or go on Facebook or play on my iPhone. And I'm starting to get dark circles. And as a guy I don't wear. Concealer or whatever
- Is FUJIFILM FINEPIX S4300 worth shooting my short film on? I thought I was able to buy something a bit better; but due to financial reasons, I do not think that I can buy a camera. I'm planning to use my iPHONE for sound--have done it before for best projects and it worked. But as for camera quality, recommend the FUJIFILM?
- How to make my first short film? I have to make a short film for my portfolio as I'm applying as a transfer to several top notch film schools. I don't have much experience or friends that do. Any tips? I have an iPhone camera, a small tripod, nothing fancy, a very small budget. I have a concept in mind but without willing friends and experience, how do I get anything done? Is there any way to do it without having to really go out and pay for a full filmmaking class?
- Could Apple make their iPhone have a durable screen by having a very thin film of sapphire on top? Like say the glass is 1 mm. They make 0.9mm of the glass made of gorilla glass and cover that gorilla glass with a 0.1 mm coat of sapphire to get the sapphire effect.
