If an iPhone has a bad esn, could it be unlocked?
Can any iPhone with a bad esn be unlocked if jailbroken? For example, my sprint iPhone 4s was deactivated. It was not factory unlocked either. So in order for me to activate it with tmobile, I had to jailbreak it and use a gevey sim with it. Could an iPhone with a bad esn be unlocked if jailbroken?
It could be unlocked, but that does not mean that a different company will activate it for you.

My iPhone 5s was stolen and Verizon as usual is not taking any pity from anyone nor would they offer me a replacement at a discount so if I want the replacement I would have to buy it at full price.
