Yes you can they have a prepaid data plan 4 smartphones I'm currently using that plan on my smartphone I have personally used an iPhone on at&t prepaid it works… Just $60/ month
I, as a matter of fact, have my iPhone 4s in a GoPhone pre-paid account, available at Wal-Mart. I purchased the cheapest GoPhone phone they had, set up my account, took my phone to AT&T, got the new Sim card for my phone, and I have the $60 per/month GoPhone plan. 2GB Data, and unlimited talk/text with no contract! So YES, it absolutely can be done.
Yes you can, as long as you are sure it is an AT&T phone or that it is unlocked. They will set you up with a new number and give you a new sim card.
- When I unlock my iphone can I use a prepaid SIM card when I travel? I live in Germany and a friend sold me her iphone 3gs when her contract was up. She said the phone would be unlocked after a certain date but it hasn't yet. If i do this myself will I be able to use any SIM card? I have 1and1 for phone service and when I travel to the states I get a prepaid SIM from tmobile. Will these work on the iphone too?
- What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
- If I can buy a iphone 3 from somebody, can i use it with T-mobile prepaid? The former owner of the phone who is selling it says that they used it with T mobile on the prepaid and on the 2year plan. Would it still be possible for me to use it on the prepaid plan if I got a plan of my own through t-mobile?
- Can you use your iPhone as Prepaid? I have recently acquired an iPhone 4 with a clean ESN and want to give it talk, text, and data capabilities without an annual contract or monthly fees. I have heard of the GoPhone program by AT&T and was wondering how to use it. I would be grateful for any information regarding this or any similar program.
