When I unlock my iphone can I use a prepaid SIM card when I travel?
I live in Germany and a friend sold me her iphone 3gs when her contract was up. She said the phone would be unlocked after a certain date but it hasn't yet. If i do this myself will I be able to use any SIM card? I have 1and1 for phone service and when I travel to the states I get a prepaid SIM from tmobile. Will these work on the iphone too?
Yes you would. That's the benefit of an unlocked phone. Any SIM card will work.
Yes, Once you have unlocked your iPhone you can use any international GSM SIM to it. You can unlock your iPhone through remote unlocking method. It is the safest and easiest method to do so. It is also an affordable method too. You can get the remote unlocking for an iPhone from Wickedunlock.com All the best mate.
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?
- What sim to use in USA and what travel money card to take? Anyone know: 1. A cheap mobile sun card that would fit in iPhone 4 that an Aussie could use in the states for a few weeks? 2. Best/ cheapest money/ travellers card to take?
- Is there a prepaid plan I can use with my 3GS using my AT&T SIM card? I know that StraightTalk has gone all screwy for us AT&T iPhone users. I really don't want to have to buy a new SIM card from anyone, especially not at the supply-and-demand prices one now faces in the mobile phone world. If I can keep my number, that'd be just too groovy for words; I don't really expect to be able to though.
- How to travel to another country, with a travel size Wi-Fi router? So I have Sprint, an iPhone 6 to be specific. I'm going to Mexico for 3 weeks, is there any way I can buy a Wi-Fi router which I can carry with me at all time and only use Wi-Fi, and have my iPhone on airplane mode.
