If i buy a used iphone from someone do i still have to get a data plan?
My phone from verizon broke and the contract isn't up yet… So if i buy an iphone from someone can it just go onto my regular contract? Or do i need to buy a data plan too?

Yes you need a data plan too. It sucks these phone companies getcha every way they can. But if ou do not buy a data plan they will be able to detect what phone you are ow using and automatically set u up for a data plan, and probably the most expensive one at that. It sucks I know.

When i bought a iphone i had a 16Gb with att found out i need more space bought a att 32Gb off of ebay put my sim card in didn't miss a beat same service same contract att ask no questions just buy same network iphone if you got Verizon buy a Verizon iphone to replace
- Why do I have to buy a data plan when buying a Iphone 4s from the apple store online? I'm buying a Verizon Iphone from the Apple store but why do I have to purchase a data plan right now? I planned on waiting until next month and just taking it to a store to get activated. Or is that not possible and i would just have to buy a unlocked phone?
- When IPhone app isn't launced is my data plan still being used? I have apps like Facebook, Twitter, & Photobucket that I keep logged in so as soon as I launch the app it's where I want it. Is the data plan still in use? What about the iphone Mail app that's kept on as well?
