If I buy an Iphone 4 will it be updated?
I'm thinking of getting an Iphone 4 because I want the old Youtube app. A person in my family can get one and give it to me. If I get one, will it be updated? Because then that would defeat the purpose, I want the old Youtube App

The updates are manual. They don't update themselves.
Well it most likely would be running the latest. If used it is possible, though unlikely it would be running under iOS 6 which is what you'd need to be able to use the old YouTube app. If new, then it will be 6.1.3 which does not come with it of course.
In any case though the new YouTube is much better.
IPhone 4 goes up to iOS 6, so if you restore or update it, your old YouTube app will disappear.
There are however better youtube apps in the app store, but if you like the old one check out Youplayer, which looks almost identical.

- Why haven't my iPhone 4 updated? Okay so my phone has been off for like two days. People are saying that you can get siri now with the iPhone 4 if you update it. As I recall, if you needed to update your iPhone, you had to go to the settings and it will have a little message. Mine hasn't done it yet so do you have to have your phone turned on in order to get the update.
- Updated iPhone iOS 6.0 and it deleted All MY CONTACTS I do not have anything stored on icloud. Now, I do have all my stuff stored to my computer on iTunes, i just tried to restore my iPhone, but my contacts are not there. I'm very frustrated and mad that this happened.
- My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
