Yes. The reps can get you linked with any company you wish to be with that is with in their territory. EG. Verizon, Tmobile, ETC for United States. If this is a foreign company then it would have to be a company allowed to have cellular service in that region.

An unlocked iPhone purchased from Apple rather than a phone company can be connected to any company IF they have the proper SIM available to operate the iPhone and operates on the proper cellular technology. There are two types in North America. GSM and CDMA. Some models of iPhones can operate on both, while other versions can operate on one or the other. You have to check with the actual carrier to see. (Of the 4 biggest phone companies, Verizon and Sprint use CDMA and AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM.)

I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores.
