If I change my Apple ID will I lose my apps?
I have an iPhone and I use my dad's Apple ID along with my two brothers so we can all have the same apps. But we now have about seven devices using the same ID, which means it can slow my iTunes down quite a bit when it tries to download all of the apps.
I'm thinking about making my own Apple ID, but will I lose all of my apps I've paid for? All I want to do is change the ID, I'm not changing my phone or anything.
No you wouldn't but in-order to re-download the paid apps you would need to download it from the original apple id it was bought on.
- Will Apple automatically sign you out if you change your Apple password? My sister has my mums old iPhone which has my stuff logged in and she told me she could see my messages and I got a little freaked out and I wanna know if Apple logs you out automatically if you change your password ;-; (The phone is supposed to be mine soon.)
- When I change iphones, do I lose all my texts? I spilt hot chocolate all over my iphone 5 and it now doesn't turn on. My friends told me that they were texting me like crazy, but I obviously couldn't get them. I ordered another iphone 5, but I'm just wondering if when I change my sim card over to my new one, does all of my texts that I haven't received yet go onto my new phone? Or do I lose them? And do you know if there's anything else I can recover or do I lose everything?
- On my iPhone, how do I change the Apple ID that automatically pops up in the Apps Ap? I have gone into settings and changed it there successfully, but the old email still pops up when I try to use the Apps store.
- If my iPhone crashes, do I lose all my purchased apps? I'm weary to buy apps in case something happens to my iPhone. If something happens and I have to get a new iPhone, does my Apple account automatically let me use those purchased apps without paying again? Thank you!
