If I change my iTunes account, will I lose all my apps, music and everything?

My ex husband and I share a iTunes account, I'm over it. He'll overdraft his bank account, then end up buying something on iTunes, and then I can't update my apps. I want to be able to keep my Find My iPhone on, without his being able to find me. I want to create my own iTunes account, but would I lose all my apps, music and books?

You can't take apps with you

You should be able to sync music, but may encounter problems where you've purchased it through iTunes

Before you change it make sure All your files are on your iPhone, then you can just sync it to your computer after you've made the new account.

You can store them on your computer previously.

  • When I change iphones, do I lose all my texts? I spilt hot chocolate all over my iphone 5 and it now doesn't turn on. My friends told me that they were texting me like crazy, but I obviously couldn't get them. I ordered another iphone 5, but I'm just wondering if when I change my sim card over to my new one, does all of my texts that I haven't received yet go onto my new phone? Or do I lose them? It suggests in a warning I can only sync to one computer and I'd lose everything - but I don't know if this 'everything' is actually everything - like my pictures - or just all my current music - which would be fine.
