If I do the update for my IPhone on another computer, what will happen?
I want to sync my stuff to it but i think it will only save what i've bought, so if you know a way that I can save everything I didn't buy, like what i downloaded from a cd that'd be helpful. I got a new computer and a new account so i'd like to know what will happen to my iphone.thanks

If you sync your iPhone with a different computer it will wipe all the saved files for whatever stupid reason it feels is necessary to do so. You can use this program http://www.getsharepod.com/ to load the files from the iPhone. But if you're just interested in updating to ios6, question?
Why? - It looks like no improvement on 5 and Apple have removed google maps and youtube just to spite google.
Also you can just update over Wi-fi now so no need to use a PC, it just needs to be charging.
Well when you go to update your iphone just right click it in itunes in the left sidebar and click on "Backup" and let the backup run through. When you update your iphone and it turns back on, go through the activation process and in itunes, click on "restore from backup" and all your content will be on your phone.
