If i download iOS 7 now, will it delete my text messages?
I found a youtube tutorial showing how to get iOS7.It looks successful and i wanted to try it out because i'm impatient: p I'm doing a lot of research before i go through with this. I heard a rumor that if you download iOS7 before it officially comes out, all the iphones will be deacivated on july 22nd is that true?
I think you have to wait its still beta… Wait for the official virgin but if you love to see it you take your all reserves coz its not official that's virgin is for developer not for user so you have to backup you iphone, ipad. What ever.
go to itunes. In the top iphone, ipad,. Pree on that and scroll down backup on this computer. Done
No just go ahead and install it. The beta 1 will be expired which means they are testing a new beta2. You can always downgrade back to ios 6.1.3 just by holding restore shift and selecting the ispw file
- Will updating to iOS 7 delete text messages? I know I'm late updating and all but I haven't had this phone long, since I replaced my old one, but I have an iPhone 4 and I'm planning on updating to the iOS 7.0.4 that is available. I have text messages that I've kept for a while because of information or I'm too sentimental for some to get rid of them (yeah, judge me) but I don't know if updating now will delete those (I'm hoping not). Also, will it delete my contacts? I hear it has for some people.
- Will the ios 7 update delete all my text messages I want to update my iPhone5 but, I can't/don't want to lose my text messages or my notes. When I updated an iPad, it deleted all the notes! So will that happen to my phone?
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
