If I dropped an Iphone 3gs into a toilet, what parts of it would probably work?

Ok so I dropped an Iphone 3gs in the toilet, I'm trying to figure out which parts of it still work so I can sell them. I'm wondering if the lcd screen will still work after being submerged in water? Can the glass and digitizer still work?

Call your local apple store (check ther website), if you attempt to even turn it on it may be short out.
NOTE: Apple iphone5s and lower have NO water protection.

You have no idea of knowing since it is liquid damage. And how do you expect us to know?

The case and the glass screen over the digitizer will still work. The rest is garbage.

  • Would my iphone be ok if I dropped it in the toilet? I use my iphone whilst i'm sitting on the toilet but I worry I might accidentally drop it into the toilet bowl. Would this damage it? What if I quickly grab it out and wipe the *** of it?
  • I dropped my IPhone in the toilet, and now my home button doesn't work? 2 days ago I dropped my IPhone 4 in the toilet, and pulled it out right away. I dried it off quickly and it was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong. But then last night, my home button started to not work unless I pressed it 10+ times… I have the accessible touch thing on, but I was wondering if could fix this myself?
  • I dropped my Iphone 5 into the toilet? It was in my pocket then it fell into the toilet. I immediately took it out and dried it. It works fine, no problem. At first there was a problem with the speaker but now its fine. But it says "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably" even though I'm not using any. Is it safe to charge it? I turned it on and off and this is the only problem I have.
  • I dropped my iPhone 4 into a toilet? All the buttons work and I have reception, but there are a few spots on the screen that are darker/lighter than the rest. I've had it in rice for a few hours, and the spots are getting smaller. The whole screen was messed up when I turned it on, so I was just wondering if they were permanent or if they'll go away eventually.
