Dunno what you mean ask again with some detail
To answer your question: It depends with who are you getting it with? If you're getting it with MetroPCS then you don't need a contract since they charge upfront to use their service, first you pay then you get the service and no contract is involve. Other phone companies may want to tie you to a contract but its up to you if you want to. Flashing a phone doesn't make it useless it just means you will only be able to use it with that one carrier, you can still use it as an iPod, to browse the web ( if you have home internet ), and social networking ( again if you have home Wi-Fi but haven't paid a phone carrier. )
- Would I be able to get a new iPhone if my contract isn't up on AT&T? Got my iPhone back in June I believe. I've been having battery problems with it lately and wondering if I decided to get a new 5S would I have to pay any fees? And would I have to pay the full manufacturer price for the iPhone? I have AT&T
- With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points
- New iPhone won't get service but my older iPhone gets service? I just got a 6s and went to the Verizon store to get my upgrade. I used to have a 5s. My 5s is still getting service and my 6s is not. I turned off cellular data on my 5s and and made sure both data and LTE were working on my 6s but it still isn't working.
