If i get my iphone screen replaced do they replace the home button too?
So I dropped my iphone and there's a big blob in the corner and I dropped it again on the corner of a staircase so there's like a hole type thing by the home button and sometimes I doesn't work. I was wondering if I pay the 145$ to get it replaced the home button will get fixed too?
Nope, the home button is not connected to the touch screen or the LCD. The LCD and touch screens are two different things and both arent connected to the home button. But the good news is that the home button does not cost that much to fix, you can actually buy the home button from ebay and take it to repair shop and ask them to give you a one of price for both the screen and home button. They should do that cause once they open up the phone it should be very easy for them to just replace the home button. They probably will charge 5 dollars or so extra for the labour work.

- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
