If i got a virus on my iphone, could it travel through the Wi-Fi into my computer?
At my home i have Wi-Fi, and my father runs his business from home with all his computers connected to it. My moms and brothers laptops are also connected to it but because my laptop broke, all i'm stuck with is my iPhone. My father is reluctant to allow me and my brother to use the Wi-Fi at home for our iPhones claiming that if our phones get a virus, it can travel through the Wi-Fi and compromise all the work he has been doing for 8 years. I understand where he is coming from but honestly it sounds a little bit too far fetched to assume our phones would be the downfall to his whole business.
It's possible. Be careful.
You won't get one on your iphone, they are really secure and all code from the appstore is reviewed before it can even get in there (which is great).
- Will other computer be infected by virus through my iPhone 4 and iCloud? My old laptop (windows) have some virus, but I already delete it. And I reformat my laptop, and I have iTunes and connected to my iPhone 4. So if I buy a new laptop wether it is Mac or windows Will it be infected to a virus?

- IPhone got reset after it was plugged into the computer.what to do? I connected my iPhone to my PC. After I disconnected it I found out that everything (including pictures, music, etc) has been removed. I think the cellphone has reset the whole thing. Can I recover the files or are they gone. Is there anything I could do?
- If an iPhone somehow got a virus, what would stop that virus from spreading to the recovery image? If an iPhone got a virus, couldn't it just spread to the recovery image? I don't mean where you connect the iPhone to your computer and restore through iTunes. I mean the restore image that is actually on the iPhone.
