If I have an ios 4, and update to ios 7, will the backup save all my important stuff?
So I have an iPhone 4, ios 4. I haven't updated it for no specific reason, but I want to update it to the new ios 7. My question is, will my backup save all my notes and numbers and messages and will that all be viewable in ios 7?
Yes it will. I updated my 4s a year ago and everything's was still there.
Everything should stay but if you want to be on the save side, back your phone up to your computer before hand just on the off chance that something goes wrong (which it shouldn't) but better to be safe then sorry.
- Just updated my iPhone 4s to the IOS 8 update and lost all my stuff So I have ICLOUD on my iPhone and on my mac, but when I updated my phone it restored everything back to from 2013 (2 years ago) so now I don't have my recent contacts and apps and music on the phone. My macbook pro has my recent messages and contacts but I just don't know how to transfer it all of it onto my phone. Or is their another way to get it all back from 20 min ago before I updated my phone?!
