If I hook up my iPhone to the computer, can I scan it for malware?

I've never had a problem with email accounts, spam, etc and all the sudden one of my email addresses (that's connected on my phone) had a changed password and is now constantly getting spam!
I'm noticing another email account (also connected) is getting bombarded with spam emails.
I think it's my iPhone because I did a search for something on safari and started getting spam messages about my search!

I'm partially afraid to connect it to my comp because if I do have something I don't want to spread it to my computer, but if I run a scanner would it scan my phone too?

Added (1). I would get spam emails for using google on my phone?

If you searched it on google, the spam would make sense.

Google uses search optimization to send you ads related to your searches.
I don't think it would be a virus, but it would be worth taking it to a store.

DO NOT CONNECT IT! If there's a virus, it could spread to your computer, but it would not detect the partition on the phone it would most likely be stored in!

Take it into a store and see if they can check it. I know Verizon has a program that protects certain smartphones and keeps malware off of them. Look into it.
