If I'm on Wi-Fi, does it still charge for international messaging?
So I recently(July 24) just got the iPhone 5 (Verizon) and last night I got a text saying I already used 78% of my data allowance of my bill! Anyways, I honestly don't think that's possible because I most of the time I use my phone I'm on my Wi-Fi and supposedly it doesn't use up that much data on Wi-Fi? But also, if I text somebody that's located in the Uk (iPhone to iPhone, iMessaging only) will it still charge if I'm on Wi-Fi? Thanks! Verizon is getting me really mad with the data usage!
It's safer you turn off your data completely and just be on Wi-Fi until the month is over and your data allowance is reset again. You have to go into "Settings" then "General" then "Cellular" and turn off your "Cellular Data"
- What does TXT/I'm to International Overage mean? Because last Thursday we bought an iPhone and had a data plan of 1gb. Then after setting it up, I texted my friend in Canada but he don't use an iphone though. I was wondering if all my texts are charged because I have checked my data usage and it showed overage but I'm on unli text. Data MB:6.52 Messaging: 160 of Unlimited TXT/I'm to International Overage: 171 What is that overage and am I going to pay those?

I was wondering if I have to pay for MMS for every incoming or outcoming pic, or does it count as unlimited texting too? I pay for my internet too, if that helps with anything: P

I'm going to india for abt 3 weeks and i don't think i can live without my iphone… I'm thinking of activating int roaming only for those three weeks… Would it be better than getting a whole new sim card in india?
