If I put iPhone music to iTunes, will I lose stuff?
I recently purchased a new macbook pro. I have an iPhone 4, and my iPhone 5 is coming in soon. I need to put the iPhone 4 music to my new laptop. I previously had it hooked up to another computer, my old one. It says that I have no music on my macbook pro, so when I plug in the iPhone 4, I will lose it all and have no music on it.
It is possible to transfer your music to a new computer and new iPhone. Here is a couple of options:
- Jailbreak help? I want to update and not lose my stuff Ok so I'm on 6.1.2 and I'm jailbroken on evasion. But I want to update to ios 7. Can I update from a jailbroken iPhone and keep all songs and applications on my phone and it just takes all my jailbreak stuff off?
- If I update my iTunes, will I lose my music? I haven't updated my iTunes since I first got an account back in Christmas of 2010.So I'm getting the iPhone 5 now. Do I need to update the iTunes for my iPhone 5 to properly work + get the full experience? Will I lose all my music by doing so? Because if so, then it isn't worth it.
- If I restore my iPhone will I lose all my new stuff (like pictures) on it? I wanna restore my iPhone but I'm afraid I'll lose all the contacts and pictures I've added recently.
- If I import music from ITunes onto my Iphone, Will I lose the songs I already have? I was just wondering, I have a bunch of songs on my computer that I want to put onto my phone, But if I do so, Will I lose all of my current songs in the process?
