I Just Bought An iPhone4. My Dad wanted to Install Cydia Really Badly So I let him. At the end he didn't know how to do it so when I got it back My Safari Wouldn't Work Anymore. So I Was Wondering If I Reset it to Manufactuar Settings Will I Have to Activate My Phone Again? I'm on Prepaid So I don't Want to Have to Pay Again. I Don't Care So Much About Loosing My Contacts&Apps. I'm Just Worried About The Activation
To get rid of this tethered jailbreak your father installed simply just update to the latest firmware. If you are on the latest firmware trying doing a hard reset, which means you will have to configure everything again including activating.
DON't RESET IT. You need to hold the power button and the home button for a minute and it will be back to normal you got to hold them at the same time and don't let go until it turns on
