What will happen if I try to upgrade my jailbroken iPhone 4S to an iPhone 5?

I recentley jailbroke my iPhone 4S and after a while I decided to upgrade to an iPhone 5. What will happen if I take my phone to Verizon for a new iPhone 5? Will they say no because its jailbroken? Please answer as soon as you can. It would help if you have had experience.

Just reset your iphone 4S. OR you can also just update it to the newest firmware 6.1.2 - then the jailbreak should go away.

Just restore your old phone to factory settings before you return to them. You wouldn't want any of your contacts and private stuff in it anyway

Just restore it, since you are going to be trading it in anyway, which will remove the jailbreak & all traces of it.

You can restore your iPhone 4S to the non-jailbreak version using iTunes. If it is in jailbroken status, they may refuse to upgrade.
