If I send a text using my email address to a fellow iPhone user will it always show delivered? Even if blocked?
If you're phone number is blocked, I know messages won't show delivered. But if your email isn't known to contact, and you send text using your email, will it be delivered? I did and the blue bubble shows with delivered status. But if I send a regular text the blue changes to green, sent as text. I know my number is blocked. But he doesn't have my email.
If you send an industry standard SMS text you will not be notified if it has been delivered. If you send an iMessage and it's delivered via phone data it may show the delivery status depending on how your recipient has their own iMessage client set up. As you are blocked your recipient will not receive your message and you will not receive any delivery report!
Have you considered that your creepy attitude may be why you've been blocked!
- Why would an iPhone user suddenly be unable to text another i phone user? My husband and I have both have iPhones (through Verizon if it matters) and for the last week anytime he's tried to text me it doesn't go through.
- What happens when you send an iMessage to someone who has an iPhone, the messages show that it was delivered, but then it shows nothing? I was sending messages to my friend through my iPhone, it showed that it was "delivered" each time, and then out of nowhere I sent a few more and it showed nothing? I can't tell whether the remaining few messages were sent or not. Does that mean I was blocked? Is there a problem with the cellular data on my end or on my friend's end? Was my friend's phone not on? What could it be and how can I tell?
- Received an text from unknown email address? I got a text from someone's gmail account to my iPhone over iMessage, and I have NO idea who it is. They sent me a text saying "Hey". I don't recognize the email and I don't know if I should respond to them. It kind of freaks me out because they have my number and I don't know how they got it.
- ON IPHONE, How do i send a text a email address as a SMS and not MMS? On my basic phone, I can text a email address without it being MMS. Now on my iPhone, it only can text email addresses using MMS. This requires data. Does apple IPHONES not know how to text a email address? I don't want to use data to text email address? I might as well just use email.
