If I sign into an iPad with a different Apple ID, will all my stuff be gone?
I used to use my dad's Apple ID on my iPad mini (he used it on his iPhone and an old iPad 2). Now he has bought a new iPad, told some of his technicians to transfer the data from his old one to the new one, an what he got is all the apps and data from my iPad mini (including pictures, notes etc). Perhaps it chose this iPad because it had a newer ios?
Anyways, by now I have my own Apple ID with which I can possibly sign into my iPad mini, but I'm afraid that the apps that were bought with his apple ID will be gone, pictures gone, notes etc. Is that what happens? Also, do I just have to delete my apps by hand from his new iPad? (I'm also scared to do this because I'm afraid they'd be gone on both).
Sorry for such a complicated story, but maybe there are some Apple geeks out there who can help me sort this device mess out.
I think you ll still have your older account stored and you can switch to that
Anything downloaded or purchased on your dad's Apple account stays there.
When you start afresh with a new Apple ID of your own you can only transfer data to it which has been uploaded from your dad's device to another storage site. So if the photos and documents were being regularly uploaded to a host pc or to a cloud storage solution then you can download them back to your new device. The exception are anything with DRM such as music, many ebooks and similar, and any apps whether free or paid for: they can only be used with the account used to download them.
If you still have access to your father's Apple ID and password then you can login to his iCloud account using a browser window on your device and then select images and documents to download onto your device.
Apple have always strongly advised against sharing Apple IDs for personal data security reasons and also because untangling the data later on is so deliberately awkward to increase security for sole Apple ID users.
NO! BUT YOU Can't ACCESS OTHER DATA UNDER ANOTHER ID.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?

Any snarky remarks and commentary are unwanted, and Yeah I'm annoyed since I paid 1000 dollars on my phone and i'm expecting the product to work properly.
- If I change my Apple ID will it sign out of all devices? Facebook has this feature where if I change my password, it gives me an option to sign out of all connected devices. Is this similar when it comes to Apple ID that it signs me automatically out of all devices like iPad, iPhones, iPod Touch? What if I'm changing the password through Apple's website?
