If I update my unlocked iphone will it lock up again?
I bought an unlocked phone off of a guy who doesn't know the original carrier, it is unlocked to fido. I don't know much about the unlocking system but he told me if I update it on itunes that it will be locked back up. I have a fido sim card in it and hes not sure if its a rogers or fido phone. So apparently if i update it and its a rogers phone it will lock up then I will have to pay money to get it unlocked again.
Check which version is on the iPhone and what's the baseband, this is of course depending on the iPhone, (3g, 3gs, 4, 4s) do some reading at ijailbreak.com searching for unlockable baseband. If the iPhone is jailbroken, it means that the unlock was made with Ultrasn0w. This means that if you update, you will loose the unlock. The only way that you don't loose the unlock when you update is when you factory unlock with iTune, then you can update to the latest version without any worries.

- Will updating my unlocked iPhone 3GS lock it again? My phone is on 4.1 and I wish to update it can I do so without it locking again? And if so can I do it on iTunes?
- Pics appearing again n again in Iphone even after deletion? Some one has clicked my pics from i Phone. I have also deleted it from his camera roll and photo Stream but still he is able to recall that pic again n again. Person is not using i cloud i have. May be using some kind of app i have no idea. Can somebody help me here?
- Iphone lock button broken, is there any alternative to lock iphone? My iphone 3G lock button is totally damaged and is out of warranty and I can't afford to get it repaired. I was wondering is there any app which can convert "silent" button to lock button. Or may be an app on which i can manually lock the device. By the way my Iphone is jailbroken, and "accessibility" is not accessible.
- Iphone 5 folder lock or app lock? If anybody know iPhone 5 have feature for pass ward lock for app or folder. Ex: (Something like when i open text message i like to put some password ) Or i can put some few app in one folder when open it have to ask passward) I know it have app for video and pictures.
