If I updated my iphone's ios, will I lose the unlock?
So I have iphone 3GS and I wanna update it to 4.3 ios using itunes, its currently unlocked so if i updated it will i lose the unlock?

It depends on how it was unlocked, if it was a factory or IMEI unlock, it is permanent and you will be fine, if it was jailbroken and software unlocked, then yes, you will most likely lose the unlock

- My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone.
